ABOUT DUTY CALLS SEPTIC

NORTHERN INDIANA'S LOCALLY OWNED SEPTIC COMPANY

Honest, local septic service from two brothers who grew up right here: pumping, inspections, and straight answers for homeowners in Bristol, Elkhart, Goshen and 11 more northern Indiana communities.

INTRODUCING
DUTY CALLS SEPTIC

Duty Calls Septic is a family business founded by two brothers, Isaac and Nolan, who grew up right here in northern Indiana. We wanted to build something of our own in the towns where we were raised, a business that could support our own growing families while giving our neighbors an honest, dependable option for their septic systems. When you call Duty Calls Septic, you're talking directly to one of us (or our wives), not a call center.

We learned this trade the way most people in this industry do: hands-on, in the field, working alongside people who'd been doing it for years. That experience is why we're fully licensed and insured, and why we're proud members of both the Indiana Onsite Wastewater Professionals Association (IOWPA) and the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA). We hold ourselves to those standards because this is our home too. We're not just servicing tanks, we're taking care of the community we're raising our own kids in.

WHY HOMEOWNERS CHOOSE DUTY CALLS SEPTIC

Every job is priced up front and handled by someone who actually shows up. Here's what that looks like in practice.

FAST, SAME-DAY RESPONSE

Backups and overflows don't wait for business hours — and neither do we. Call before noon on a working day and we'll do everything we can to get a truck to you before dark.

UPFRONT PRICING

You'll hear a real price range on the phone, before a truck ever leaves the yard. No surprise line items when the invoice shows up.

LICENSED & INSURED

Certified technician, properly insured truck. Not only does every job meet state septic code, it meets our standard.

LOCALLY OWNED

We're not a call center hours away. You won't be speaking to an AI receptionist, either. We're a born and raised northern Indiana family that cares about your property and treats it like our own.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

We'll tell you what's actually wrong, what it costs to fix, and what can wait — even if it means less work for us.

OUR MISSION

Most septic problems start small, and most of them are preventable. Our mission is simple: help homeowners understand their systems before a small issue turns into a costly, messy one. We grew up watching neighbors get blindsided by problems nobody explained to them, and we don't think that's how it should work. Every job is a chance to leave you knowing more about your system than you did before we showed up.

SEPTIC TANK PUMPING PROCESS

No guesswork, no surprises — here's exactly what happens when we pump your tank.

LOCATE

01

We find the tank using physical identifiers on the house, probing with our Mighty Probe, and, if necessary, flushable transmitters.

DIG

02

If the lids aren't already accessible, we get our hands dirty and start digging! Don't worry, we do our best to not disturb more of your beautiful yard than necessary.

PUMP

03

Using our small but mighty pump truck and our handy dandy sludge mixer, we pump out the tank's contents completely and do a visual inspection while it's empty to catch any foreseeable issues.

DUMP

04

Waste is hauled to a local, licensed disposal facility, where it's logged and handled in line with state and local regulations.

DO YOUR D.U.T.Y

HOMEOWNER SEPTIC CARE GUIDE

Your septic system is a partnership. You do your duty by taking care of it, and we'll do ours by providing honest, dependable service when you need us.

DON'T DUMP ITEMS
DOWN THE DRAIN

Your septic tank is designed to handle wastewater—not everything that disappears down your sink or toilet.

UNDERSTAND YOUR  SEPTIC SYSTEM

A septic system works hard every day, but many homeowners don't know much about the system buried in their yard.

TREAT YOUR
SEPTIC SYSTEM WELL

Your septic system is built to last for a lifetime, when it’s treated properly with routine maintenance.

YOU CAN CALL US
